Sounds:

I've got an attention span that can be measured in nanoseconds so music needs to do something new to interest me. Thank the stars for mp3 blogs and the mp3blog aggregator.

I've been listening to Coldplay's new single and it sounds like every other song they ever did. So what's the point? I'm sure there is an answer. Actually i can think of several.

At least there are new things out there.

The Unicorns suffer from headspace like mine. The album is called Who Will Cut Our Hair When Were Gone? so you get an inkling where they may be going except they took a left, abandoned the car and finished the journey on a pony in the back of a truck. the best bit? EVERY SONG IS DIFFERENT.

Which is why i like Le Tigre. They may be just a female Gerling. But what's wrong with that?

Snow Patrol might be less hyperactive but they sound good.

I've followed html paths looking for the Radiohead gig from 11/9/01. Has anyone found it? ditto the Raiders of the 20th Century mash with Paul Morley ranting and raving like a cross between Lester Bangs and orangutan.

Someone's mashed the beastie boys and the beatles. It sounds like the beastie boys mashed with the beatles. Dangermouse's Grey album with jay-z and the beatles sounds like a complete whole by comparison.

Meanwhile i am wishing i lived in london and could celebrate my birthday at Fabric with 2 many dj's and soulwax in the main room and adam freeland and plump djs in room 2. Now that would be a night. Maybe we will get a Fabric Live of it? Now that would be good.
